A few words about Birkenstock
The company Birkenstock dates since 1774, when a shoemaker Johann Adam Birkenstock began with his work in a small village plant. In the next years, the company began to spread and the shoes Birkenstock became popular among more and more people.
What's the magic of the shoes? The revolutionary thing is a special shaping of shoe inner sole which exactly copies foot. The firm sole is made of mix of cork and natural latex and it is shaped in a way in which the heel is lower and the instep is supported firmly so the leg has got a firm support.
Inner sole will perfectly fit your foot owing to that and you will feel comfortably after all-day walking or long standing. Thanks to the mix of used materials the shoe insole reacts on warmth of the foot and it gradually adapts to its shape, so in the end the shoes are truly glove-fitting.
Shoes Birkenstock are made of really quality leather. No synthetic covering colours were used so the pores in the leather stay open and breathable.
Health insole of Birkenstock shoes is made of the best natural materials. The textile fibre of health insole ensures adequate stability and moisture absorbency. This textile fibre is made of plant textile fibre – jute. As a binder of cork health insole Birkenstock the latex milk got of a rubber tree bark is used.
Thanks to the high elasticity of latex and its tenacity the health insole is permanently elastic and it has a long lifetime.
