Introducing brand És
A few words about És
éS Footwear (éS is pronounced as the letter s) is an American shoe brand name founded in 1995 by Pierre André Senizergues from the company Sole Technology, Inc., owning also brands Etnies, Emerica ThirtyTwo snowboard boots and Altamont Apparel. éS was developed as more technically focused line comparing to Etnies and similar brands focusing on aesthetic and functionality. A professional rider Sal Barbier left Etnies and joined éS, where he created his line of shoes and he transferred his successful model Sal 23 to éS.
The most popular shoes from éS Footwear, Accel, started to be sold in 1996 and it has been the most sold brand name of this company so far. In spring 2006, the last founding member, and a professional rider, Eric Koston, who joined Lakai Footwear, left éS. The longtime member of the team Tom Penny left to the company Supra in 2005.
