Introducing brand Funstorm
A few words about Funstorm
The history of Funstorm began in 1990. In the Czechoslovakia, few riders had snowboards and it was really an insoluble problem to get a snow board for a normal boy from the north of Bohemia. So it was necessary to use a plywood, saw, epoxide, bolting edges from old ski and the „hand made snowboard“ came into world. And then it was enough to cut the ski boots shell and set on snow-covered mountains.
AND HOW DID IT GO ON?
After a few days of riding it was obvious that it is necessary to deal with quality clothes as there were more than enough touches with snow. Snowboarding was at the very beginning, no nb/skate shops existed so you simply could not buy the clothes. Therefore a decision was made to produce it on own hook. After a number of months of hunting and trying, first pieces of clothes reached shops under the brand name STORM in 1994. This collection consisted of T-shirts Funstorm, jumpers Funstorm, jackets Funstorm.
„PERFECT QUALITY FOR PERFECT PRICE“
All the products for snowboarding, skateboarding or BMX are produced under the motto – "perfect quality for perfect price". This strategy proved to be the right one and STORM clothes soon became an integral part of the Czech snowboard and skateboard world.
STORM OR FUNSTORM?
In 1999, the brand changed its name into Funstorm as it began to sell on the European market. Nowadays, our products are totally different from the first STORM collections. Technical details elaboration, material parameters and design, all that moved forward, as well as snowboarding and skateboarding. This development was, is and will be possible only with the cooperation with quality team Funstorm of riders that are mostly really the Czech top ones.
