Introducing brand Salewa
A few words about Salewa
Salewa is the brand that is, for majority of us, the synonym of high quality outdoor models. Salewa shoes, trousers or backpacks, each item includes the experience brought to perfection.
Salewa was founded on 8th July 1935 by Joseph Liebhart in Munich. During war years the company focused on production of leather and textile products, such as first backpacks of steel pipes and ski poles of hazel. Owing to ski poles that were of a high interest in winter 1952/53, Salewa managed to reach sports field with its production.
During the next years, the number of products was still widening and there were added e.g. ice-picks and climbing-irons or highly functional clothes. In the new millennium Salewa reached the best results.
Even in the roughest and toughest conditions, you can rely on top products of Salewa brand! And why do we think so? Because a group of sportsmen of international team SALEWA alpineXtrem Team have tried Salewa. Trust the professionals!
