In addition to the main compartment, you can also use several other pockets, including a pocket in the lid, zippered pockets on the hip belt or a vertical pocket on the front of the backpack, which can be used to store a jacket, for example. Of course, there are also stretch side pockets for a water bottle and compatibility with water reservoirs.
