The Beany Zero 20" junior bike is the lightest children's bike on the market in its category, weighing just 6.8 kg. With 20" bikes, riding independently is usually no problem for young cyclists. On the contrary, they often start experimenting with all the things they can do on a bike. To make their exploration more enjoyable and easier, we’ve reduced the diameter of the handlebars and selected brake levers sized appropriately for a child’s still-small hands. So that the child can brake safely and quickly, they don’t have to reach across or move their hands on the handlebars—everything is literally right at their fingertips. Including a 7-speed lever shifter. Shifting to a different gear doesn’t require the force typically needed with twist shifters; with the lever shifter, gears can be changed easily and effortlessly. This means the child can stay focused on riding and keep the handlebars under control. Tires up to 2.1" wide can be used on this bike.
