Every Riot version comes with sophisticated details that take the riding experience to the next level. These include the Tractionlink linkage system for optimal traction and suspension, a rigid, one-piece rear end, and the VPP (Virtual Pivot Point) concept, which provides more responsive response and better support in the middle of the stroke. The Virtual Pivot Point (VPP) suspension design uses a linkage system that creates a “virtual” pivot point that moves during suspension compression, optimizing rear wheel travel and pedaling efficiency. Unlike single-pivot designs, VPP allows the rear wheel to initially follow an upward and backward path, improving obstacle clearance, shock absorption and traction. This design increases stability and control in off-road conditions. An upright seatpost, lowered fork and longer chainstays are the main features of the state-of-the-art geometry, which is based on Ghost’s SUPERFIT® algorithm, which determines the optimal lengths of each frame tube depending on the rider’s height.
