The Oakley Mod1 MIPS Snowboard and Ski Helmet combines a low-profile design inspired by classic skate helmets with modern safety and comfort features. The integrated MIPS® system helps reduce the transfer of rotational forces to the head during an impact, while the BOA® 360 Fit system allows for precise adjustment of the helmet’s circumference. Another practical feature is the Fidlock® magnetic buckle, which can be easily fastened even while wearing gloves.

- MIPS®: offers additional protection against oblique or side impacts by helping to reduce rotational forces during a fall. This gives you reliable peace of mind for fast descents, relaxed runs, and versatile days on the snow
- BOA® 360 Fit System: allows for precise adjustment of the helmet’s fit around the entire head. Using the adjustment wheel, the circumference can be gradually tightened or loosened, so the helmet can be customized to the specific shape of your head
- Fidlock® Buckle: The magnetic buckle allows for quick and easy fastening. The magnetic mechanism makes it easy to use even while wearing gloves, which is especially practical in winter conditions
- Fixed Ventilation: fixed ventilation openings that allow excess heat to be drawn away from the top of the helmet
- Brim/Goggle Ventilation: Ventilation in the visor/goggle area is also designed separately. This allows airflow from the ski goggles outward, helping to reduce fogging
