The Smith Hardline Carbon MIPS Full-Face Helmet is designed for the toughest trails and descents. The carbon shell, combined with full KOROYD® coverage and MIPS® technology, provides maximum protection against oblique and rotational impacts. The design also features a specially shaped lower section of the helmet that helps dissipate energy in the event of an impact to the shoulder area, reducing the risk of a broken collarbone—a common injury in downhill crashes. Safety is further enhanced by the emergency release system, which allows the cheek pads on the sides of the face to be quickly and gently removed in the event of an accident. These pads can be quickly and gently removed in the event of an accident, allowing for safer helmet removal without unnecessary head movement—crucial when spinal injury is suspected. The helmet features an adjustable visor that can be raised to a high position—ideal for mounting a camera. Comfort is ensured by a system of interchangeable pads in multiple sizes, allowing you to fine-tune the fit. It is fully compatible with SMITH goggles, and the AirEvac system helps wick away moisture and reduce fogging.
