The attachment is discreet and secure under any bottle cage using the supplied security screws. The device is charged via USB-C and will last approximately 6 months in normal use. Cyclists can activate and deactivate the motion-sensitive alarm, locate the device and check battery life through the Knog app.

For more discreet security, attach the Scout to your bike using bottle cage mounts using tamper-proof security screws without a cover. * Mounting with a bottle holder The extremely low profile and compact design of the Scout system allows it to be elegantly bolted and hidden under the bottle basket. This is a great way to keep Scout hidden for even more stealth. * Starting and charging Turning the Scout alarm on or off is simple and can be done in two ways: using the button on the side of the device when the connected iPhone is in close proximity (<1.5m) or using the Knog app when devices within Bluetooth range. When the Scout's battery needs charging, there's no need to take the device off the bike, it can simply be recharged using a USB-C cable via the Scout's charging port located under the waterproof silicone cap. * LEDs and waterproofing The Scout is equipped with a dual function of LEDs that show at a glance whether the Scout is active.
