La Sportiva Spire GTX Men's Boots – these low-cut, lightweight hiking boots are ideal for both classic and fast-paced hiking. Thanks to the unique Gore-Tex® Surround™ technology, you get versatile, waterproof, and highly breathable footwear. This patented technology allows moisture and heat to escape through the membrane under the foot and then out of the shoe via side ventilation openings. The ventilation channels visible along the midsole profile are protected by an extremely durable nylon mesh that prevents small stones and other debris from entering the ventilation openings. The upper utilizes the Nano-Cells 2.0™ structure; super-breathable cells that work synergistically with the GORE-TEX SURROUND® membrane to provide an unprecedented level of breathability. The lower part of the shoe features the Stability Control System™, a stabilization system that integrates ventilation openings with GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology. The Vibram XS Trek outsole provides excellent traction on hard, soft, and muddy terrain.
