The Nidecker Escape CamRock Extra Wide men's snowboard is an all-mountain snowboard designed for riders looking for a versatile board for groomed runs, backcountry terrain, and occasional visits to the snowpark. Thanks to its CamRock profile, directional shape, and carbon reinforcements, it offers easy handling, good stability, and confidence when riding in various snow conditions. The Extra Wide (XW) version has a significantly wider waist than standard snowboards. It is particularly suitable for riders with larger snowboard boots, as the wider design provides more space and helps prevent the toes or heels of the boots from catching on the snow when riding on edge.
- CamRock profile: combines classic camber between the bindings with rocker at the tip and tail. Camber enhances edge grip and responsiveness during turns, while rocker makes it easier to initiate turns, helps forgive minor mistakes, and improves float in softer snow. Thanks to this combination, the snowboard adapts well to changing conditions on the mountain
- It’s a great choice for riders who want one board for all-day riding in the resort, occasional powder runs, and more playful riding
- Flex: 2/5 – Medium-soft: A more playful and easy-to-handle snowboard that allows for a relaxed ride on the slopes, in powder, and for occasional tricks
- Terrain: Resort 4/5—versatile riding across the entire slope; Powder 4/5—riding in powder and deeper snow; Park 3/5—riding in the snowpark, jumps, and tricks
- Intended Use: All-Mountain
- Extra Wide (XW) design: features a significantly wider waist than standard snowboards. It is particularly suitable for riders with larger snowboard boots, as the wider construction provides more space and helps prevent the toes or heels of the boots from catching on the snow when riding on edge
- Directional shape: Designed primarily for forward riding. It promotes stability at higher speeds, precise turn initiation, and control over the snowboard on groomed runs. In the backcountry, it helps maintain a smooth ride and, combined with a slight setback, makes it easier to lift the tip in deeper snow
- Master Core – wood core: combines poplar and paulownia wood to achieve a balance of strength, flexibility, and weight. It supports the snowboard’s natural response under load and during edge-to-edge transitions
- Triax Plus – triaxial glass reinforcement – glass reinforcement: triaxial glass fibers increase the stiffness of the construction and support precise power transfer to the edges. They contribute to stability and control during more athletic riding
- Pop Carbon – carbon reinforcements: carbon elements placed between the binding area and the tail of the snowboard increase energy during takeoffs and help dampen vibrations during faster riding
- Premium Sandwich Construction – sandwich construction: The sandwich design enhances the snowboard’s strength, durability, and stable riding characteristics
- Absorbnid – top layer: the top material helps absorb unwanted vibrations, contributing to a smoother ride and less fatigue during longer sessions on the slopes
- 4×2/5 – binding mounting system: five rows of inserts spaced 2 cm apart allow you to adjust your stance width and binding position. The system is compatible with standard snowboard bindings
- N-7000 Hybrid base – hybrid base: the ideal compromise between an extruded and a sintered base – a high-density material with increased carbon content that ensures better wax absorption and faster glide without requiring as much maintenance as a fully sintered base
- Matte Finish: a textured top-layer graphic that feels as good as it looks
- Graphic Design: a layered top-layer design that adds depth and texture to the graphics
- Recommended use: snowpark, groomed runs, occasional powder
- The design layout may vary from piece to piece
- Logo placement and design may vary from piece to piece depending on the season
