The Nitro Pantera Camber Wide men's snowboard is a high-performance all-mountain snowboard for experienced riders who demand high stability, precision, and maximum control at high speeds. It is designed primarily for aggressive carving, fast turns, and riding on groomed and harder slopes, but thanks to its directional shape, it also offers excellent performance off-piste and in powder.
- Profile: Camber – Trüe Camber (a classic camber profile that provides solid edge-to-snow contact, precise steering, and a responsive feel when pressure is applied to the snowboard. It’s ideal for dynamic riding and carving, allowing you to hold an edge firmly even at high speeds. It also gives the snowboard strong pop and stability during aggressive turns.)
- Flex: 9/10 indicates a very stiff and high-performance snowboard designed primarily for experienced and stronger riders. The high stiffness provides maximum stability at high speeds, precise energy transfer, and strong support during turns. The snowboard deforms less during aggressive riding and allows the rider to apply more force when carving. The reward is high control and stability, but it also requires active and more precise control
- Terrain: All-Mountain: 10/10 – an excellent choice for versatile riding all over the mountain, including groomed runs and varied terrain; Backcountry: 8/10 – very good performance for off-piste riding and in deeper snow; Park: 4/10 – usable in the park, but not primarily designed for jumps, tricks, and riding in the snowpark
- Shape: Directional – the directional shape provides stability, precision, and better handling when riding on varied terrain
- Reflex Core Profile: The tapered section of the wood core between the bindings improves torsional flexibility and makes it easier to control the snowboard while turning
- Progressive Sidecut: Combines different sidecut radii to achieve a powerful and smooth turn. It allows for quick turn initiation while providing stability during the turn. The construction is designed so that the snowboard holds its edge well during aggressive carving while preventing the tip from catching on the ground while riding
- Wide width: The wider snowboard construction provides more space for larger snowboard boots while helping to minimize the boots extending beyond the snowboard’s edges. Thanks to its greater width, it is suitable for riders with larger boots and allows for safe, deeper lean angles during carving without the risk of the tip or tail catching on the snow
- Powerlite Core: The lightweight poplar core provides low weight, strength, and significant pop
- Tri-Lite Laminates: The laminate construction ensures a balanced combination of flexibility, strength, and quick response
- Carbon Tape: Carbon reinforcement enhances energy transfer and the snowboard’s responsiveness
- ABS Sidewalls: Durable sidewalls increase durability and help transfer power to the edges
- Sintered Speed Formula II Base: A fast sintered base with high durability and excellent glide properties
- Recycled Steel Edge – edges made from recycled steel combine durability with a focus on more sustainable production
- Who this snowboard is for: It’s ideal for advanced to expert riders who prefer fast, aggressive, and precise riding. It excels most in carving, edge-to-edge riding, and high speeds, where it fully utilizes its stiff flex, camber, and long effective edge. The wide design provides more room for larger snowboard boots and helps minimize contact between the toe or heel and the snow during deep turns
